What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the web, we collect the data displayed on the feedback form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymous string created from your email address (also called a hash) can be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/ After approval of your comment, your profile image is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the web you should avoid uploading images with location data (GPS EXIF) included. Web visitors can download and extract any location data from the images on the web.

Contact forms

We use contact forms so that you can send us comments, suggestions or proposals. These forms ask for the minimum essential information to be able to attend these requests: your name and your email. These data that you provide us will be used only to respond to your request, being the basis for the processing of these data the legitimate interest between the person who writes us and us.

How long we keep your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are preserved indefinitely. This is so that we can recognize and approve successive comments automatically instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.

Of the users who register on our site (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their user name). Webmasters can also view and edit that information.

What rights do you have over your data?

If you have an account or have left comments on this website, you can request to receive an export file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete any personal data we have about you. This does not include any data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.

ceapspain commits itself in the use of the data, to respect their confidentiality and to use them in agreement with the purpose of the same ones, as well as to give fulfillment to its obligation to keep them and to adapt all the measures to avoid the alteration, loss, treatment or not authorized access, in accordance with the established in the Royal Decree 1720/2007 of December 21 by which the Regulation of development of the Organic Law 15/1999 of December 13, of Protection of Personal Character Data is approved.

You guarantee that the personal data provided through the forms are truthful, and you are obliged to communicate any modification to them. Likewise, you guarantee that all the information provided corresponds to your real situation, which is up to date and accurate.

You must also keep your data updated at all times, being solely responsible for the inaccuracy or falsity of the data provided and the damage it may cause to ceapspain, or third parties because of the use of that.

What procedures we use against data breaches

ceapspain adopts reasonably adequate security measures to detect the existence of viruses, brute force attacks and code injections.

However, you must be aware that the security measures of computer systems on the Internet are not entirely reliable and that, therefore ceapspain cannot guarantee the absence of viruses or other elements that may produce alterations in the User’s computer systems (software and hardware) or in their electronic documents and files contained therein.

In spite of this, to try to guarantee the security and privacy of your personal data, the contracted hosting has an active security surveillance system that informs of each user’s activity and possible gaps in the security of the user’s data.

If a breach is detected, ceapspain undertakes to inform users within a maximum period of 72 hours.
